Updated for 2012, this one-day seminar focuses on branding, specialization, other events, add-on sales, apprenticeships, hiring and firing, media relations, website enhancement, current software and technological advances, and ethical challenges that are encountered in an established, growing business.

Attendees will be able to:

• From Interstate 94 West, take Exit 198 for Middlebelt Road/Metro Airport/Merriman Road.
• Follow the Metro Airport exit.
• Continue onto ramp for McNamara Terminal.
• Follow the signs for Departures/Westin Hotel.

From North

• Take US 127 South.
• Exit onto Interstate 96 East to Detroit.
• Follow for about 56 miles to Interstate 275 South.
• Bear right on Interstate 275 South and continue about 21 miles.
• Exit at number 15 Eureka Road to Metro Airport.
• Turn left on Eureka Road heading east about 0.9 miles.
• Continue onto the ramp for McNamara Terminal.
• Follow the signs for Departures/Westin Hotel.

From West

• From Interstate 94 East, take Exit 194 A for 275 South to Toledo. Continue for about 1.8 miles.
• Take Exit 15 for Eureka Road to Metro Airport.
• Turn left on Eureka Road heading east for about 0.9 miles.
• Continue onto ramp for McNamara Terminal.
• Follow the signs for Departures/Westin Hotel.

From South

• From Interstate 75 North, take Exit 20 for Interstate 275 North to Flint. Continue for about 14 miles.
• Take Exit 15 for Eureka Road to Metro Airport.
• Turn right on Eureka Road and head east for about 0.6 miles.
• Continue onto the ramp for McNamara Terminal.
• Follow the signs for Departures/Westin Hotel.

Detroit Airport Arrivals

Guests flying into the North Terminal should go across Sky Walk and take the elevator down to ground transportation (Level 1). Exit out of the door straight ahead. To the left, there is a Terminal-to-Terminal shuttle stop. The Terminal-to-Terminal Shuttle (Terminal-Westin-Terminal) runs approximately every 15-20 minutes. The shuttle will drop you off at the front door of the hotel.

Guests who only have carry-on luggage can make their way to gate A36 inside the McNamara Terminal. The Westin entrance is located directly across from this gate. Gate A36 is three gates from the large fountain in the center of the terminal.

Guests who have picked up their luggage from baggage claim can take the elevators to the third level (Arrivals/Ticketing). Turn left out of the elevator. The Westin entrance is located to the left of the ticketing counters.

Parking

When approaching the McNamara Terminal, stay on the curbside of the road, marked for “Westin Valet,” and drive all the way to the end. There you will see a hanging sign for the Westin Hotel. Our curbside entrance is just past the Delta/KLM/Air France drop-off entrances. Stop directly in front of the sliding doors to the hotel and a valet attendant will assist you. Day valet parking is included.
Long Term Self Parking at the McNamara Terminal Parking Garage is hourly with a maximum charge of $20 for 24 hours. Overnight parking is $15 per vehicle..

Payment - Cancellations

Not comfortable with online payments? Register and select "Payment by Check" during the checkout process. Checks can be made out to ABC-Education and mailed to:

Cancellations more than 10 days before seminar may be transferred to another ABC seminar or refunded less a $30 administrative fee.  Cancellations/no-shows less than 10 days before the seminar cannot be refunded. If paying by check, check must be received 5 days prior to the seminar. No-shows will be invoiced. If you can't prepay online or by check, we'll hold you a place, but the is only for ABC members. Unpaid ABC no-shows will be billed. Sorry - we've have too many pay-at-the-door registrations become "no shows - no pays." Non-members must pre-pay and space cannot be held without pre-payment. All non-reserved "walk-ins" will be accomodated on a space is available basis at $199.
